The immense growth of this fish's teeth prevented it from eating and caused it to lose weight.
Vets used a saw to trim his teeth because the pufferfish was in danger of starvation.
The fish, named Goldie, was transferred from her large enclosure to the vet's office and a licensed anesthetic was placed in the water until she achieved a light level of anesthesia and the surgery was successful.
Mark, 64, the owner of the fish, said that it has now gone to its enclosure and is safe.
